The painting depicts Avro Lancaster B-X "Just Jane" taxiing at East Kirkby (her home), this happens throughout the year at her home base at least once a day, sometimes two or even three times. One event that is very worthy of a visit is the incredible night run and fireworks display at the end of October / beginning of November. Quote from Neil: "This event will send shivers down your spine when she taxies out and disappears into the darkness, all you can hear is her amazing Merlins" The painting was completed in oils on a 1000mm x 500mm stretch deep edge canvas. It was auctioned throughout the 2014 airshow season at various events in Essex and Lincolnshire.
