The painting depicts "HMS Bazely", a lend-lease destroyer escort that fought in the British Royal Navy during World War II in the North Atlantic. The painting depicts an action when she and HMS Blackwood sank a German U-boat U-600. Quote from Neil: "I had the honour of doing this for a client / friend who`s relative fought on this very ship during W.W II" The painting was completed in oils on a 1000mm x 500mm stretched deep edge canvas.
